The email included in this is how EVS is spoken to by their director, someone with no experience of the job and doesn't want to dirty their own hands and clean with them. 'You guys clean up piss and shit, that's it, you shouldn't get paid more.' 'You're the dishwashers of healthcare. These areas are continuously treated like dirt by other staff. Don't hire enough staff, overwork the staff you have and don't pay them enough for the job. These areas were understaffed before covid because Bronson likes to be cheap. A couple of key areas that keep the hospital from shutting down are EVS (janitorial), surgical reprocessing.
Right now, every area in the hospital is very understaffed. I'm going to shine a light on this for people to see and explain what's happening behind the scenes. Plenty of people know how difficult it is to work healthcare right now due to covid, but I think the public don't see how hospitals, or at least this one, treat their employees.
